Grant Guidelines: 

All Proposals must demonstrate a benefit within Lac qui Parle County

 

Proposals must be summited by local applicants, should avoid duplication of efforts and have clearly stated goals and outcomes

 

Partnerships and new projects are encouraged. 

 

Grants generally range between $500 and $2000

 

MCF will consider funding up to 50% of a project.  The remaining 50% must be provided through other sources, including "in-kind"

Arts, Community Improvement, Education, Health,

Leadership Development, Youth Development

Uses Supported

Capital, Conferences, Curriculum Development, Exhibitions, Performances, Publications, Program Development, Start-up Funds 

Who may apply: 

 - 501c3 Organizations

 - Unit of Government

 - Public agency

 - Applicants that are not "tax exempt"

   must apply through a suitable fiscal host

The Madison Community Foundation generally will not make grants for : Religious activities, Political activities, for profit endeavors, operating expenses, debt retirement, ongoing grants, administrative budgets, programs or services mandated by law, national fundraising campaigns, raffles, endoment drives and scholarships
